Recent Activities
Oh, we have been soooo busy....all of the following has taken place in one less than ONE week!
We'll start with the fourth grade play. This is the line dance Bradley's class did. He is in the front row with the red t-shirt on.
Bradley as William B. Travis in the play.
The clowns helping Jake back up after he fell off his bunking bronco in the Kindergarten Rodeo.
Jake got to hold the American flag for the opening ceremonies.

Jake receiving his Kindergarten diploma!!!
Bradley's end of the year awards assembly. NONE of the teachers or aides were allowed to hire subs this day! I was distraught. Thank God my sister was able to come down and go for Bradley! She was a lifesaver!!!

And, since DeeAnne came down with Mikah, my parents also came down. We even got to celebrate Jake's birthday a little early with cake and ice cream!
Mikah playing with the Thomas trains!

The boys playing trains...this used to be Bradley's FAVORITE toy ever!

On June 6th, Jake will be 7 years old! All he wanted this year for his birthday was to play putt putt. We were going to go on his actual Birthday, but if we went tonight, Celebration Station had $1.99 games per person. It was an awesome deal, so we went ahead and celebrated tonight as opposed to a busy Saturday night.

San Antonio
What an amazing weekend! We had a great time at Randy Snyder's wedding this weekend. We even got in a quick trip to the Alamo and River Walk. We will for sure sleep well tonight!
These published backwards...oh well. The groomsmen holding the boquets.

The first dance
Bradley walking in the jr. bridesmaid. They were both 10, but she was taller (even without the heels)
Jake walking the flower girl into the reception. We had to work with both of the boys to teach them how to walk a girl by the arm.

Handsome boys!
The wedding party
Randy Snyder's little brother Josh.

Boat ride on the River Walk.

My boys defending the Alamo!
Snyder visiting with the boys at rehearsal dinner.

These are all boys that Randy coached at Ferris. We didn't know they would be in the wedding so it was a nice surprise to see them all. The one to the left of Randy just graduated college ready to coach and teach math!!! The guy to the right of Randy is Snyder. This weekend definitly reminded us all the hard work of coaching and teaching is well worth it!
Shanna and Randy at rehearsal
Jake walking the flower girl in....like I said we had to work on the whole linking arms thing :)
Fuzzy picture...should probably erase it but oh well.

The front of the Incarnate Word cathedral...beautiful!

Christmas
So we had a great Christmas break...too bad it is over.
One great milestone we reached was the Green Gorilla (suburban)turning 200,000 miles. What's sad is the car isn't far behind at 194,000 miles.
I desperately tried to get a picture of the cousins together...as you can see below, it didn't quite work out!

More Football and Bradley's 10th Birthday!
Saturday we celebrated Bradley's 10th Birthday at the YMCA swimming pool. The BEST part of the birthday of course was that his dad finally got to come to one of his parties. Someone in the lunch room last week was asking me about Bradley's party and mentioned something about Randy being there. My eyes immediately teared up and I had to not talk bc I was sad that Randy was not going to be able to come, and he has never been able to come to one of Bradley's parties bc of football. Well, the head coaches wife was in there and went home and strongly suggested to her husband that he have Randy take Saturday off of football to go to his son's party....So a picture below of Bradley and his DAD AT HIS PARTY!!!

Friday Night Fun
We are 9-1 heading into the playoffs. Tri-district champs, we have to share the title with two other schools. So here are some pictures from our Friday nights lately. The first one is the sweetest. This was Bradley's frist time to go on the sidelines with his dad. Precious.
And what would Friday nights be without Crickets???

FC DALLAS
The boys and I had a blast last night at the FC Dallas game. The YMCA sold tickets to the kids that play soccer for $15. With that, you get a free FC Dallas Tshirt and the kids got to be in a parade on the field before the game. Below is the boys in the parade. It is very easy to see where they are. See the big gap in the line? That is Bradley talking to his friend as he walks, not paying attention to the line!
Ready for some soccer action! Yes, I colored Jake's hair red. I colored both the boys hair red last time we went. This time Bradley didn't want his red...I guess he is too old for that. :(

SCORE!!! The game was exciting at the end. It ended up tied 2-2 against Toronto. I really like professional soccer games. They are exciting.
Jake making some noise!
Me and Jake. I was playing with the settings because I didn't like my make-up...it had come off and I didn't have on lip stick and I just think the green color is much more becoming than my regular self.
Jake and his buddies.
Bradley watching the game. I love to see my boys having a good time.
Jake picked up streamers off the floor and began tying them around his eyes and mouth. He asked me if I would tie one around his nose...I said NO!
Goofball! Gotta love him!
